numeraire_dataset.zones.wrds.default_vintage() → str[source]#

The default raw-vintage stamp for a WRDS pull, resolved at call time.

Uses the explicit WRDS_VINTAGE environment variable when set; otherwise the current year-month (UTC), e.g. "2026-07". Resolving live avoids a hard-coded, silently-stale label that would cache/lock a fresh pull under a wrong vintage. Pass an explicit vintage= to pin a pull to a specific release date (a dated point-in-time vintage).
